As our nation celebrates its 250th birthday this year, we invite you to capture what you think makes America truly beautiful in a
photograph. Is it the landscapes, people, communities and achievements or the quiet, everyday moments that define our shared American story?
Submit your original photo (taken in the last 12 months) and join us in honoring 250 years of American independence and the enduring spirit that unites us all. Let your lens tell your American story. Entries must be family-friendly and are required to follow contest rules. We welcome entries from both amateur and professional photographers living in Portage County.
All entries will be displayed at the library, offering the public an opportunity to experience America through a diverse range of perspectives and photographic styles. The exhibit runs July 1 through August 31, with an exhibition opening on Wednesday, July 8th, from 6pm to 7:30pm.
