In this class, participants will discover ways to visualize data by creating charts and sparklines.

Completion of the Microsoft Excel I or previous experience is required.

Basic mouse and keyboard skills are also required.

Computer Basics

Thursday, July 6
2:00-3:00 p.m
This will be an opportunity for people completely unfamiliar with computers to get some basic hands-on training and begin to feel more comfortable with the technology.
Registration is required and space is limited.

STEM Explorers

Children in grades 1-3 are invited to the library on Thursdays, July 6, 13, 20, and 27 at 4:30 p.m. for a special program series dedicated to STEM exploration.

Participants will learn science, technology, engineering, and mathematical concepts through hands-on activities with Kent State University Students.

Summer Lunch Program

June 5-August 18
The Summer Food Service Program was established to ensure that low-income children continue to receive nutritious meals when school is not in session. Free meals, that meet Federal nutrition guidelines, are provided to all children 18 years old and under.

Puzzle Exchange

Second Saturday of each month
9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Puzzle enthusiasts can swap, switch and trade puzzles and some board games. No registration is required for this free program, and participants may come and go throughout the length of the exchange.

 

Build a Better Fantasy World

Join us for a special roleplaying and fantasy design workshop on Saturday, July 8 at 2:00 p.m.

This hands-on workshop will include creative activities about fantasy worldbuilding from the ground up. This program is open to anyone interested in fantasy writing, gaming, or curiosity.

No registration required.
