Microsoft Word II

Reed Memorial Library will present an intermediate Microsoft Word class on Tuesday, July 25 at 6:00 p.m.

This class will expand upon the basics of Microsoft Word and introduce how to add headers and footers, page numbers, columns, and tables.

Completion of Microsoft Word Basics or previous experience is required.

Registration is required and space is limited.


Microsoft Excel II

Thursday, June 29 at 10:00 a.m.

In this class, participants will discover ways to visualize data by creating charts and sparklines.

Completion of the Microsoft Excel I or previous experience is required.

Basic mouse and keyboard skills are also required.

Internet for Beginners II

On Thursday, June 22 at 2:00 p.m., our Guiding Ohio Online AmeriCorps member will present the second portion of the Internet for Beginners series.

In this class, participants will learn the basics of using a search engine, how to find information on a webpage, and ways to locate the contact information of the website’s creator or organization.

Dine and Discuss Caregiver Series-Being a Caregiver: Steadfast or Stressed

Join Stephanie Yeaglin from Hospice of Western Reserve on Wednesday, June 21 at 5:00 p.m. to discuss managing personal stress while caring for others. During this program, participants will learn tips and tricks for time management, relaxation techniques, and available services that will make your caretaking experience positive for both you and your loved one. A light dinner will be provided.

Creative Container Gardening

Unearth the secrets to container gardening success on Wednesday, June 14 at 6:30 p.m.

Join Cathy Morgan as she shares her secrets to creating and maintaining a successful container garden, and design a floral container garden of your very own.

All supplies will be provided.

Registration is required.


Computer Basics II

On Thursday, July 13 at 2:00 p.m., our Guiding Ohio Online AmeriCorps member will present a class on the second part of the computer basics series.

This class will provide an expanded introduction into computers and participants will practice using icons, the task manager, and locating pre-installed software or games that comes standard with Microsoft Windows.
